Welcome to the Plymouth County 4-H Horse Show's official website.  

Here you will be able to find all that you will ever need to know about the horse show.  

The Plymouth County 4-H  Annual Horse Show committee will be hosting two shows this year.  July 1, in Hanover and September 16 in Marion.

How will the show day run?

6AM Trailers Arrive

8AM Horse Show Begins in Ring 1 with 4-H Fitting & Showmanship

8:30AM Trail Course Opens

2:00PM Trail Course Closes


  • The show will begin promptly at 8AM and trailers will be allowed on show grounds no earlier              than 6AM. 
  • Trail class will run from 8:30AM till 2PM ONLY. 
  • The warm-ups over fences will be from 2PM till 2:30PM, over fences classes will begin at                2:30PM. 
  • During warm-ups over fences only two rider/horse pairs will be allowed in the ring with only two         course runs permitted.

How do I get to Briggs Show Grounds

Briggs Stable is located in Hanover Center opposite the Hanover Town Hall on Route 139. Below is directions on how to get to the show grounds from Route 3.

From Route 3, SOUTH BOUND from Boston.

Get off exit 13 and take a right onto Route 53 and then turn right onto Route 139.  Follow Route 139 until you reach Briggs Stable.

From Route 3, NORTH BOUND from the cape.

Get off exit 12 and go right onto Route 139.  Then follow Route 139 until you reach Briggs Stable.
